These Lightweight Speakers are Made of Paper

These paper speakers were designed by Coralie Gourguechon. The speakers have bespoke graphic card stock templates embedded within the interior. The design features small components such as radio antennas, speakers, switches and 9V battery connectors. These basic functions allow the speaker to work along within the built-in complex power circuit.

The speaker was assembled using ink pens and glue to piece each component together. When the cone is connected to the overall body, the sound is amplified and dispersed throughout the paper's exterior. These paper speakers are also an example of an educational project that can be applied for learning purposes. It’s a great way to see how a speaker can be built using such basic tools!
