The Pangaia FLWRDWN material has been unveiled by the sustainable fashion brand as an alternative for consumers who are looking to avoid traditional down or synthetic stuffing in their outerwear. The material has taken scientists at the brand more than 10 years to develop and consists of wildflowers that have been treated with a biopolymer as well as infused with aerogel. This enables the jackets filled with the material to be warm, cozy and breathable without the need for any animal-sourced components.
The Pangaia FLWRDWN material is vegan-friendly, and is used in jackets that come in three style options to suit consumers of all shapes and style preferences. The exterior of the jackets is made using seaweed yarn and recycled plastic or garment waste.
