A recently emerging fashion trend has designers asserting their believe that "fashion is art" by transforming their designs into a living painting. The dresses are treated as a canvas and exquisitely painted as an artistic painting.
Designers who have jumped on this bandwagon, as illustrated in the main image, include YSL Resort '08 (modeled by Demi Moore), Dolce & Gabbana spring '08, and the new Twelfth Street collection by Cynthia Vincent. And I have to say that YSL and Dolce win the artistic battle hands down.
