Packhelp Raises $45.6 Million For Customized Packaging Services

Packhelp is a Polish startup offering bespoke e-commerce packaging solutions. Since its launch in 2015, the company has attracted more than 50,000 customers across the world and sold over 50 million pieces of packaging.

At the tail end of 2021, Packhelp announced that it had secured €40 million ($45.6 million) in funding following a Series B investment round. Investors include notable firms such as InfraVia Growth, PortfoLion, FJ Labs, and the European Investment Bank. With the new investment, the company plans to focus on attracting midsized and enterprise clients; currently, Packhelp's main clientele are smaller boutique companies.

"In our view, customisable packaging designed to fit the dimensions of a product, can not only reduce cardboard usage by 10-30% per item shipped (as items are tightly packed, not sitting in a box much larger than the item), but it can also reduce the volume of cargo bulk required in a carbon-heavy cargo plane or truck," explained the company in a recent interview with TechCrunch.
