Platinum and Diamond Album Goes on Sale at Takashimaya

The world’s most expensive CD has gone on sale at Nihonbashi's Takashimaya department store. This CD costs 10,000,000 yen (about 100,836 USD) and comes with a platinum case that's been embedded with 2 carats' worth of diamonds. 

You can buy the world’s most expensive CD at Amazon for a much cheaper price (1,980 yen), but it won't include the diamond-studded platinum case. Universal Music, the producer of the super-luxe CD, has contacted the Guinness Book of Records to get the disc included.
