Honda's Our Hope for the Future Float Shares an Augmented Reality Experience

At the 131st Rose Parade, Honda will be sharing its Our Hope for the Future float in celebration of the "optimism created by the spirit, dreams and vitality of children." The 55-foot long float will be decorated with around 30,000 flowers and will depict a scene of six children pursuing their dreams in space exploration, environmental stewardship, medical science, the arts and more.

This imaginative float from Honda is being elevated with an augmented reality experience through Snapchat that gives both attendees and at-home viewers the ability to hear sounds, see sparkling stars, fireworks and the animated characters come to life before their eyes. With this float, Honda is setting itself apart as one of the first automakers to use Snapchat’s Marker Tech augmented reality technology.
