Oru Kayak is Set to Launch a Black Version of Its Signature Product

Oru Kayak has announced the launch of its popular origami kayak in a limited-edition black version. Designed by Anton Willis, the sleek kayak boasts a compact and lightweight design -- the entire thing weighs just 25 pounds. Of course, like the brand's other models, the limited-edition version can be folded down to a 33 x 14 x 29-inch box (hence the name, origami).

However, the kayak's lightweight construction and foldable design do not limit its general robustness; the boat can easily hold up to 300 pounds. In addition, the company claims that the entire kayak can be assembled in as a little as five minutes, making it the perfect on-the-go option for weekend paddlers.

The limited-edition black version of Oru's origami kayak will launch on January 14 and will be made available to purchase on the brand's website.
