F1 Folding Chairs and F2 Table by Nils Frederking

Big round tables are sure handy to have but storage is a problem. Nils Frederking's award-winning folding table and chairs show his technical skills at coming up with deceptively simple folding mechanisms.

At a press of a button, the folding table unlocks and unfolds in a one easy motion as shown in the video. In its folded state, it is so slim, its depth is only 8 cm!

You can fold the chairs in just two steps. As it is curved, the chairs are freestanding. Their compact design means that 22 of them will occupy only 1 square metre.

The table and chairs are made from high grade steel and laminated wood. Frederking's designs are patented and are manufactured by Ligne Roset.
