Oreo is putting its own spin on a classic NYC recipe by introducing the new Oreo Black & White Cookie Sandwich Cookies.
For those unfamiliar, a black and white cookie is a round cookie that's been iced or frosted in two colors, with one half being vanilla and the other half being chocolate. The cookie's origins trace back to Glaser's Bake Shop in Manhattan, making it a classic NYC dessert.
Now, Oreo is taking a stab at the classic recipe by putting half chocolate-flavored creme and half vanilla-flavored creme filling in between two crunchy golden Oreo cookies.
The new Oreo Black & White Cookie Sandwich Cookies will be a limited edition offering available only while supplies last starting in late January of 2024.
