Seneca Polytechnic has established a state-of-the-art opticianry training facility through a philanthropic contribution from HOYA Vision Care. The venture strives to enhance practical education for future eyecare professionals.

The newly inaugurated HOYA Vision Care Eyeglass Dispensing Lab at Seneca's Newnham Campus meticulously replicates contemporary optical retail environments, complete with industry-standard equipment for vision testing, frame selection, and precision lens fitting. This immersive learning space bridges theoretical knowledge and real-world application and allows students to develop technical competencies in eyeglass dispensing, contact lens fitting, and subnormal vision device adaptation using current professional tools and methodologies.
