OpticBook 3800 Scans Old Literature into Digital Form

You’ve converted to e-books already, so why not transfer all your old books into digital form as well with the OpticBook 3800?

Normally when you scan books with a normal scanner, there’s a good chance that the spine gets in the way. With the OpticBook 3800, you’re getting a scanner that’s built specifically to place the pages of literature onto the screen. The item uses SEE (Shadow Elimination Element) Technology that helps effectively transfer books into the digital format without distorted images or the book’s spine shadow. It’s got a USB 2.0 interface, scans up to 120 dpi resolution and it’s got a fast scan speed at seven seconds. It’d be a pain to transfer an entire novel, so I’d suggest using it for a page out of a magazine.
