The Open Lab SS 2014 Amanda Camenisch Editorial is Pliant

The Open Lab SS 2014 editorial featuring models Maaike Klaasen and Marko Brozic introduces readers to the chic side of pliant materials. Photographer Amanda Camenisch took images of reflective, translucent fabrics, speaking to the evident beauty of the less is more concept.

Stylist Lorenzo Posocco put together these avant-garde ensembles. Clear trench coats were matched with flannel shirts, leather zip up jackets, strap bras and perforated skirts, giving way to outfits that offer up a mixture of grunge with a prim aesthetic.

Given the sensual appeal of this revealing photoshoot, it follows that Camenisch opted for a black and white finish. Despite the lack of color, it is nonetheless evident that there is a great deal of beauty in see-through looks.
