Polo Shirt Self-Portraits

The Van Gogh Mosaic from Onward Kashiyama Co. is a Preppy Piece of Art

Onward Kashiyama Co. has recreated Vincent Van Gogh’s famous self-portrait using 2,070 polo shirts of 24 different colors. Prepsters are losing their minds right about now.

The gigantic self-portrait was on display at the Marunouchi Building in Tokyo. Japanese apparel makers are known for their odd stunts, such as making banners out of jeans and then selling those jeans to onlookers, so I am not too shocked by this piece of polo art from Onward Kashiyama Co. The only thing I wonder is this: What will they think of next?
