Millions of people spend hours and hours of their time in the online gaming world. Given the anonymity of the internet, it is easy for people to screw with other gamers. But there are a select few who really go the distance to bring misery to the online gaming world and those who play in it.
There are 7 biggest dick moves in the history of online gaming and they are as follows:
#7: The Eve Super-Heist
Basically, a player who has spent months building up his corporation can be killed at any time and it’s months and lots of time wasted.
#6: The Corrupted Blood Plague (World of Warcraft)
Basically a spell was taken from a boss, the players then teleport out and started a plague. So if you are in the low level you would be dying all the time with with a more difficult chance for advancement.
#5: Despawn of the Sleeper (Ever-Quest)
The game developers put in a boss that was pretty impossible to kill using only a small group of gamers, so a large group of gamers got together to try and kill it. They spent so much time trying to do it. When the developers caught wind of what was happening they shut it down claiming there was a glitch.
#4: Crashing the (Funeral) Party (World of Warcraft)
A member of a guild died in real life so they were going to hold a funeral in the game somewhere. It was posted all over forums where it was going to be and how they wouldn’t be ready to fight and didn’t want to fight. Of course the opposition ignored that, and attacked during the funeral anyway.
#3: Assassinating the Inventor of MMORPGs (Ultima Online)
Richard Garriott, the inventor, created a character for the game and his character was killed in the game.
#2: Literal Dick Attack (Second Life)
One of the characters in the game was having a "live" interview and other characters sent animated male genitalia at her. She switched over to her home server, but they followed her there causing more havoc, causing her server to shut down.
#1: The Ultimate Investment Scam (Eve)
Player "Cally" had a bank in the game and eventually took all the money he had, that other players had invested in, and bought a whole bunch of stuff in the game for himself and was one of the best players after that. He made a video bragging about it.
