Maison Margiela Releases the New 'On a Date' Fragrance

Maison Margiela has unveiled its Valentine’s Day-ready ‘Replica’ fragrance called ‘On A Date.’ The exhilarating smell was developed as a creative study between the perfume and wine industries to capture the joy and excitement one experiences on a date. Taking inspiration from the stunning vineyards of Provence, the sweet and seductive fragrance is sure to enamor whoever is sitting on the other side of the table. The energizing fruitiness of ripe grapes soaked in bright sunshine and the delicate personality of wild roses are present in the fragrance ‘On A Date.’

"First, I sought the best way to express the aromas of red wine. I translated its finesse and freshness by using Crème de Cassis, Davana and then I also explored the aromas of rosé wine by expressing its energy and roundness," master perfumer Carlos Benaim says.
