The Olympia Le Tan Spring Collection Pays Tribute to a Hotel in Japan

The Olympia Le Tan Spring/Summer 2016 collection is a luxury line dedicated to the Okura Hotel -- the now demolished hotel was Le Tan's favorite place to stay in Tokyo.

While the Olympia Le Tan Spring/Summer 2016 collection offers cursive script on the front of souvenir jackets, the Japan theme extends beyond the designer's hotel inspiration. With the help of photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, the eccentric designer used the artists' funky images as a graphic pattern atop button up t-shirts, kimono style dresses, shorts and other apparel. The color palette also bares Japanese influence with the heavy use of red hues that adorn stockings and other articles of clothing.

Though the Okura Hotel is no longer standing, the Olympia Le Tan Spring/Summer 2016 collection recreates its beauty with wearable pieces.
