At-Home Oil Machines

The Daily Expeller Oil Maker Lets You Make Your Own Seed and Nut Oils At Home

This oil maker allows anyone to make their own cooking oil out of nuts and seeds. The Daily Expeller is a machine that enables you to make homemade custom oils.

Created by industrial design students at the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, The Daily Expeller was developed as a graduate project. A miniature version of industrial sized expellers, the oil maker is fairly easy to use and will appeal to those who are into authentic homemade goods.

To use, you place your nuts or seeds of choice into the bottom compartment. A lever on the side of the appliance allows you to grind them as they are heated. Boiling water is also used before everything goes into the second chamber, where a crank is used to extract oil.
