Phone-Powered Wooden Toys

'Offline Toys' Encourage Parents & Kids to Spend Quality Time Together

Apê Kids created Offline Toys to help parents intentionally put away their phones during quality playtime with their children. As university research shows that excessive mobile phone use by parents can negatively influence a child's brain development, Offline Toys requires parents to turn in their phones to make the most of a toy.

Offline Toys includes three different types of toys, each of which is suited to kids in different age groups. Although each of the Offline Toys is made of wood, and contains a wooden drawer for smartphone storage, the smart designs include NFC technology to recognize where it is docked to prevent incoming notifications.

With the car, stove and doll toys, kids and parents are able to fully enjoy quality time with one another, all the while learning about police car sounds, different types of food and human anatomy.
