Samsung recently revealed its new 'Odyssey G9' gaming monitor. The Odyssey G9 features a 49-inch QLED curved screen that has a 5120×1440 resolution. The monitor features a white exterior and a core that has five different lighting effects.
The Odyssey G9 is also significantly more curved than many other gaming monitors on the market, as it has a 100R curve. The increased curve is able to provide a more engaging gaming experience, as the screen surrounds the user. Samsung's new gaming monitor is also able to support AMD's FreeSync 2 and Nividia G-Sync.
The company has not yet released any pricing information or a release date. However, it is anticipated that Samsung will release that information during CES.
