The ODG Smart Glasses Are Blowing Minds At CES 2015

CES 2015 is proving that smart glasses aren't merely the realm of huge international companies like Google, with smaller start-ups also looking for a piece of the piece; the ODG smart glasses are a great example of this.

Developed by Osterhout Design Group (ODG), these augmented reality glasses are designed for military and industrial use. In fact, San Francisco-based ODG says the glasses are already in active use but won't reveal who's using them, stating only that they're working on a consumer version.

These glasses offer two displays -- one for each eye -- and covers a greater proportion of your sight lines compared to Google Glass. Indeed the company says the product is a blend of Google Glass and the Oculus Rift -- more immersive than Google Glass, but so immersive as to make you lose your sense of reality.
