Considering the huge rise in well-designed infographics of late, it was only a matter of time before the Occupy Together movement came up with its own in the form of Occupy Design. This grassroots project connects designers with on-the-ground demonstrators to provide freely available visual tools that not only explain the problem in an easy to understand manner, but Occupy Design also serves to unity the 99%.
Occupy Design also provides a how-to guide for demonstrators, a graphic toolkit for designers and a platform for the community to suggest ideas for designs in order to spur creativity and to explain the purpose of its existence. By conveying a clear message to those watching, Occupy Design hopes to spur the movement.
