Oben Electric Confirmed 17,000 Preorders for its Oben Rorr E-Motorbike

'Oben Electric,' a new Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle start-up, confirmed that it has received over 17,000 preorders for its 'Oben Rorr' e-motorbike. The Oben Rorr was announced in March of 2022 with deliveries set to begin in November. However, the conditions led to the production process being delayed to December of 2022, with deliveries now beginning by March of 2023 to the 17,000 customers who preordered the motorbike.

The Oben Rorr is equipped with a 10 kW PMS electric motor that outputs up to 72 Nm of torque. This combines with the 4.4 kWh battery pack to deliver a max speed of 100 kmph and a range of 200 km per charge. As for the acceleration of the Rorr, it reaches 40 kmph from standing in just 3 seconds.

The Rorr retails for 99,999 Rupees, or roughly $1,230 USD.
