If you understand Japanese, you probably have an idea of what these little pets are. For those who don't, "nyokki" means "grow" in Japanese... and that can mean only one thing â€" cool little plant-haired buddies with which to entertain yourself.
Nyokki Pets ($20, set of 2) feature one of five happy animal faces on the side of an egg shaped planter. The grass seeds inside grow to full-height in around two weeks, you can then style it or cut it off and watch it grow back.
