Numero France's August 2012 Caune Editorial is Rocky

Numero France's August 2012 Karlina Caune photoshoot delivers a tantalizing mineral-clad set. The ashen mountains provide the perfect backdrop for the Latvian model, the very face that has been at the heart of Jil Sander advertisements, Dazed & Confused spreads and Giambattista Valli runway shows.

Photographer Jacob Sutton selected this naturally electrifying display. While the majority of summertime snapshots choose to lens poolside mansions or floral gardens, Sutton has simplified the lot with the ivory tones. These ivory tones were instantly jazzed up however with Caune's reflective silver pants, glistening blue blazers, mirrored sunglasses and gem-laden dresses. Spiky ankle boots and drooping earrings provided the final touches, contrasting the neutral landscape yet again with daring chic pieces.
