The 'Nothing is Impossible' concept is the winner of the Unbelievable Challenge, a conceptual architecture competition that encouraged participants to design a new logistics center for Santa and his team, in the hopes of luring him from the North Pole a bit further south to Finland.
The concept was designed by Alexandru Oprita and Laurentiu Constantin of Romania, who beat out 242 other entries from around 59 countries.
Their concept stays hidden from view thanks to a photovoltaic membrane and a two-way mirror membrane, allowing it to blend in with its surrounding landscape. The concept also makes use of a snow collection system, which melts snow for re-use in the building, and a rainwater collection system.
Oprita and Constantin have been awarded a cash price of $1,250, with one of them able to participate in a 10-week paid internship at architecture firm Snohetta. Proof indeed that 'nothing is impossible'.
