The Nosinger Hatch and Rebirth Pieces Are Made with Recycled Materials

Nosinger's Hatch and Rebirth pieces have been released on behalf of the Japan-based design firm. Nosinger plays with recycled products in the series, or more specifically, with the shells of eggs.

Hatch is a planter within which users can insert earth and seeds. When plants surpass the container in size, the shells can be placed back into the ground, giving way to more greenery. Rebirth is by contrast a lamp that features eggs that are evenly distributed throughout.

Nosinger hopes to bring nature into the daily lives of customers in this way. As eggs are representative of new life, the subjects meet this end well, distinguishing them as optimal for the purposes of both Hatch and Rebirth.
