Norse Store and orSlow's New Capsule Makes Use of Herringbone Fabric

Denmark-based retailer Norse Store has teamed up with boutique Japanese fashion brand orSlow to launch a collaborative collection that will be sold exclusively on the company's online platform.

The collection draws inspiration from military attire and makes heavy use of herringbone fabric and slim-fit silhouettes. In particular, it borrows elements from Vietnam War-era items. For example, the M-38 jacket features several pockets and an extra-tough construction, mimicking the look of the American military jackets during the war. Other pieces in the capsule include tailored denim jeans and shirts, logo t-shirts, and a ripstop cotton cargo shirt.

"To bring the original herringbone fabric back to life, we needed a partner capable of dying and constructing cloth to our specifications," Norse Store buyer, Kevin Kafesu, referencing the inspiration for the unique collaboration.
