Norn9: Last Era is a romance visual novel that follows the story of three heroines and nine male characters who all possess unique abilities.

The plot of Norn9: Last Era is divided into Prelude, Concerto, and Fuga. Prelude is a prologue that introduces the characters and their abilities. Concerto is a continuation of the main game’s routes, with two variations: Sun Concerto, which is a happy ending, and Moon Concerto, which is a more serious and conflicted ending. Fuga is a side story that shows the boys’ perspectives on the heroines.

The game also has a bonus mode called Fantasia, a "what if" scenario where the heroines fall in love with different boys. The game’s story involves a mysterious incident that causes chaos on the airship Norn, where the characters live. They have to deal with problems in both the real world and the dream world, where they have become small. The game will be released for the Nintendo Switch on August 24 in North America and Europe. It will be sold physically and digitally at an MSRP of $49.99 USD.
