The new Non-Dairy Haagen-Dazs ice cream collection came as a result of fans of the brand filing a petition with Change.org, in order to encourage the popular brand to offer dairy free options for its consumers with sensitivities to lactose.
The new collection comes in a range of flavors, all of which are free of dairy in any form. These include a Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, a Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, a Mocha Chocolate Cookie, and a Coconut Caramel. To avoid using lactose, the brand instead added peanut butter, coconut cream, water and processed fillers to offer a creamy effect to the ice creams.
The Non-Dairy Haagen-Dazs collection will be offered at Target, and is well-suited for vegans and people with lactose intolerance.
