Bull's-Eye Pill Packaging

Nobilin Branding Targets Sufferers of Indigestion

The words "design" and "pill packages" are seldom found within the same sentence, so it's surprising to see so much thought go into Nobilin branding. With the conventional clinical labeling of medications, it becomes quite difficult to bring consumer awareness to specific products.

Medicom Pharma wasn't satisfied with this, and chose to create four new capsule wrappers with the black silhouettes of four different animals printed onto the foil backings. A cow, a pig, a fish and a chicken were all chosen, being the primary sources of meat in the Western diet.

To hit home with an effective message about the tagline to "Target heavy food," BBDO of Germany cleverly traced point lines of a bull's-eye within each creature's outline. The ingenious design of Nobilin branding is revealed when someone with stomach pains ruptures the foil for a tablet, creating a wound in the livestock that looks like the work of a bullet.
