Nivea's Naturally Good Face Cream Features Recycled Coffee Grounds

Nivea's Naturally Good range now includes a face cream infused with recycled coffee grounds. With this product, the skincare brand is joining the upcycling movement and taking steps toward supporting a circular economy.

It's estimated that one kilogram of coffee generates 1.2 kilograms of waste and globally, billions of kilograms of coffee are consumed. If not properly composted, coffee grounds end up in landfills and release harmful methane gas as they decompose. With Kaffe Bueno as a partner, Nivea is giving new life to a recycled ingredient. Coffee is rich in antioxidants and in this face cream, it only adds benefits for calming and protecting the skin.

Nivea's Naturally Good face cream is packaged in a jar made from ISCC-certified materials and FSC-certified cardboard is sourced from sustainably managed forests.
