Auto-Branded Vertical Gardens

Nissan Mexicana and VerdMX Create Green Sculptures Throughout City

The nonprofit organization VerdMX has teamed up with Nissan Mexicana to create five large vertical gardens, which have been installed throughout Mexico City's public areas. The giant green sculptures are part of a Nissan Mexicana campaign called 'Respira' (or 'Breathe) that aims to promote the automaker's "conscience" and commitment to eco-friendly living and practices.

The large vertical gardens infuse the otherwise drab and grey-toned city with a fresh and invigorating splash of green. They also provide an aesthetically pleasing way to improve air quality around the city, as well as absorb noise from traffic. According to VerdMX, the green sculptures will also reduce "heat island temperature" and contribute to the improvement of the quality of life for those residing in Mexico City.
