Cosmetically Enhanced Eco Cars

The Nismo Nissan Leaf Puts a Sexy Spin on the Acclaimed EV

The Nismo Nissan Leaf is easily the best-looking iteration of the Japanese EV. The new styling package comes courtesy of Nissan's in-house performance division and is designed to make the car look "cooler" and less heavy. The cosmetic upgrades come in the form of a new body kit featuring a wing, aluminum wheels, new side skirts and front and rear bumpers.

The suspension of the Leaf has also been lowered by 30 mm. No performance boosts were added, a fact which is sure to upset those who decry the Leaf's lack of speed. While the Leaf has been popular in the U.S., the Nismo Nissan Leaf will only be available in Japan, at least for now.
