Japanese Botanical Gins

Nikka's Coffey Gin is the First White Spirit From the Whiskey Brand

Nikka's Coffey Gin is the first white spirit to be released from Nikka, a brand that has been making Japanese whiskey for over 80 years.

Nikka is known for its whiskey and Coffey-distilled spirits. Nikka's Coffey Gin is made using a base of corn and malt in the same kind of continuous style stills developed by Aeneas Coffey. Typically, gin relies heavily on the use of Juniper as a main botanical, but this Coffery Gin omits the plant in favor of an on-brand twist.

Created using Japanese botanicals like sansho pepper, yuzu and kabosu, Nikka's Coffey Gin will have a flavor unlike any other. This uniquely flavored gin will be available in Japan at the end of June and will be released for wider distribution in September.
