Attack-Focused Soccer Shoes

The Nike PhantomVSN is Focused on Internal Comfort for Players

The 2018 World Cup may have just ended but Nike is already ready to innovate the soccer world with the release of the Nike PhantomVSN. Replacing the Magista, this new soccer boot will be worn by players in the next European soccer season and is designed to support a more aggressive and attack-focused form of play.

Designed by Phil Woodman, the Nike PhantomVSN was conceived from the inside out. This resulted in a new construction for Nike footwear that features an internal Quadfit mesh, meant to conform to almost any foot. This focus on internal construction may not show much visible impact to the external design of the shoe but for players, this redesign is incredibly innovative.

The Nike PhantomVSN features a triangle-style structure with each point covering three bones in the foot—the calcaneus, talus and first metatarsal head are all equally supported, as they are critical for ball control.
