You may not give much thought to what you put on your feet, but runners will attest to the fact shoes make all the difference in performance - which is where the Nike Hyperfeel comes in.
Stripped down to the minimum, the new shoe allows runners to stay connected to the ground, letting them feel as if they’re running in their bare feet. The upper part of the shoe is made up of a knitted construction, giving it a sock-like feel while the bottom is only 0.7 millimetres thick.
Based on research showing that an athlete’s ideal shoe would feel like nothing at all, the Nike Hyperfeel is designed as "an extension of your foot" and is "designed to amplify what the foot is already doing," according to Dezeen.
