Nike has released yet another knitted sneaker called the Nike Free FlyKnit Chukka; but this time, it veers from the typical running shoe figure. The FlyKnit sneaker takes on a chukka design. Chukkas are traditionally ankle-length booties with two or three pairs of eyelets for its laces and are usually made from suede leather.
Nike's versions are more contemporary than the traditional chukka. The shoe comes in a variety of colors, is tight-knit and is appropriate for running. The Nike FlyKnits usually come with a Lunar bottom, but these latest releases feature 5.0 level Nike Free soles. The Free soles allow for a more natural, barefoot feeling.
