Musical Vomit Artwork

The Nexus Vomitus Features Rainbowlike Puked-On Canvases

Although my instinctual reaction to the Nexus Vomitus art series is a shudder, I'm still thoroughly intrigued by this unique art form. Considering the medium of the project, most wouldn't be able to help the innate feeling of disgust that arises at first after hearing about it.

Yet the Nexus Vomitus art series is interesting for reasons other than the ingesting and spewing of milk dyed with food coloring. It is a unique collaboration between artist Millie Brown and opera singers Patricia Hammond and Zita Syme.

A one-off performance, the Nexus Vomitus series was documented by SHOWstudio in which Brown vomited to the soothing sounds of Hammond and Syme's interlude. You can watch the video here.
