The 2010 Parajet Skycar

European company, SkyCar Expedition, claims to have the "world’s first biofuelled flying car." As a follow-up to a previous post on the Parajet Skycar, the vehicle and worthiness are being challenged with an "extraordinary journey from London to Tombouctou in Mali - an intrepid maiden voyage of some 6000 km through the heart of the Sahara and the frighteningly named ‘Empty Quarter,’" according to the company.

What I am really interested in is their next generation models set for production in 2010. These styles, mixed in with the soon-to-be-proven performance and handling, will be a more attractive ride to accompany me and my date on our own maiden voyage.

I am looking forward to seeing what this market segment will develop, and look like, in the next few years. Soon I guess it will be safe to say that heaps of people will be flying high.
