This Creative Newspaper Advertisement Hides a Kitchen in Text Blocks

In an effort to create a kitchen ad that your eyes wouldn't skip over quickly, artist Felipe Salazar created a dynamic newspaper advertisement for Corona Kitchen. Rather than showing a kitchen with pictures, Salazar created appliances, counters and oven ranges from text, making it seem like the kitchen could almost pop right out of the page.

Creating the kitchen ad involved framing the illusory kitchen with other columns of text, so that the kitchen itself could easily be distinguished from other elements on the page, even though the same black and white boxes and text was used. The creative full-page ad is definitely one that would make you stop and do a double take when reading the newspaper.
