Although it is exciting to see the latest fashion looks on the runways during the 'New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week' it is also exciting to get a look at everyday people outside of these shows for new inspiration. Robert Marshall from 'Hypebeast' captured the outlandish menswear looks that make up the New York street style scene.
The clothing does not seem to be form-fitting as loose jackets, baggy pants and denim blazers are seen worn in the big city. There is also a mismatch of patterns, as snake printed shorts are seen paired with striped shirts. A combination of both casual and formal wear is also apparent as sweaters and shiny shoes are worn together in some of the outfits.
Overall the menswear looks we see on the streets of New York are inspiring because we are able to see style within a culture rather than as an abstract idea. The street style photographs will continue to inspire our world just as the 'New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week' will.
