Brutal Production Supercars

Koenigsegg's New Supercar Is the World's First 800-Volt Vehicle

The Koenigsegg Regera is a magnificent new supercar whose production version has just been revealed. The vehicle's concept version was debuted a year ago in Geneva, but has undergone over 3,000 changes since then.

Quite incredibly, this new supercar is the world's first 800-volt production car. It makes use of a 4.5 Kilowatt-hour battery pack and weighs in 3,505 pounds, a good 1,000 pounds lighter than the brand new Bugatti Chiron. This enables the vehicle to benefit from a frankly ridiculous 1,500 horsepower, enabling it to sprint from zero to 62 miles per hour in only 2.8 seconds. The vehicle also enjoys well over 1,400 pounds-feet of torque.

The Koenigsegg Regera is truly a masterful work of auto engineering, and manages to look fantastic and perform in mind-blowing fashion.
