A new Panerai watch was recently unveiled by the Italian watchmaking company. The new model is titled the Lo Scienziato Luminor Tourbillion GMT PAM00768. The face of the watch features the clock hands as well as a day and night display. Through the face of the watch, users are able to see the mechanics -- with the open face design showing off the mechanics of the watch.
The watch is movement-powered and has a six-day power storage system. The body of the watch is measured in at 47mm and was created using laser sintering. The design features several layers of powdered titanium. Using titanium in this way allows for the watch to be almost half as light as standard titanium.
The new Panerai watch release is limited to 150 makes, each with a $140,000 price point.
