BMW Unveils the New MINI Cooper for 2014

BMW has decided to preview its model for the new MINI Cooper 2014 a few days early instead of waiting for the Los Angeles Auto Show. Fans of the MINI Cooper will be happy to know that the new model keeps its iconic look relatively intact.

The new MINI Cooper features a hardtop design and includes more power and technology than found in previous models. The new MINI Cooper is more fuel efficient yet still has an impressive engine—of your choice—under its hood; either a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine or a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The only problem MINI Cooper purists might have is that the new model is slightly longer and heavier than previous ones.

Today's unveiling of the new MINI Cooper marks the 107th anniversary of Alec Issigonis who designed the original MINI back in 1959.
