The new Jamie Lidell video for 'You Naked' is a decidedly cutting edge affair. The video sees the Warp Records genre bending singer causally singing in a giant illuminated cube, with a fluorescent strip light as his microphone stand and his trademark camel colored trench coat.
London based studio Flat-e created the giant cube specially for Lidell. What's neat about it is that the projected visuals you see are triggered in real time from the movement of Lidells microphone stand. The single which mixes electronica and funk, is the third single from his soon to be released self-titled album.
The technology was conceived by London-based studio Flat-e, who shot and directed the video without any post-production effects, and have also worked with on the forthcoming solo live show and artwork.
