PAD Studio's New Forest House Uses Extremely Low Energy

PAD Studios has been working on a study highlighting the actual environmental impact of low-energy homes for the past 10 years and involving the studies at the New Forest House. The home rests on a 18.5-acre plot and it was created to ensure that there is little to no disturbance of the surrounding sites.

The home features a main house along with a guest annex. The New Forest House uses 110% less energy in comparison to a home that is powered by gas -- it has five bedrooms and is right int he forest. The construction uses timber and follows a simplistic design to allow nature to truly be the highlight. Other elements include the natural swimming hole and aforementioned guest annex.
