Taziki's Mediterranean Café is combining two popular desserts into one to create the new Baklava Cheesecake.

Available just in time for the holiday season, Taziki's Mediterranean Café is currently testing out this brand-new offering at locations in Birmingham, Nashville, Atlanta, and Richmond. From now until January 22, 2023, customers in these select test markets can sample the delicious new Baklava Cheesecake, which combines a classic American dessert with a Middle Eastern treat. The hybrid cake features a sweet cream cheese filling layered with phyllo dough, honey, and walnuts. As Dan Simpson, CEO of Taziki’s Mediterranean Café, explains, "Baklava has always been a favorite at Taziki’s, so we’re excited to offer it in a unique new way with our Baklava Cheesecake. We’ve combined two favorite desserts into one, so our guests can enjoy this new classic twist on a festive dessert throughout this holiday season."
