For the first time, Nervana Neural Network Processors are designed for AI use in cloud technologies. The two new Nervana Neural Network Processors are titled 'NNP-T1000,' and the 'NNP-I1000.' The NNP-T1000 was designed to be used for AI training on all types of computers, while the NNP-I1000 was designed to operate with higher-level tasks.
As AI technologies continue to proliferate, companies are creating hardware that can optimize the technology. Additionally, creating hardware to help AI systems run on the cloud will have a significant impact on the way AI can be used.
The company also unveiled its Movidius Vision Processing Unit, which will increase the performance of computer vision systems. Intel's Movidius chip will be available in early 2020.
