Samsung Introduced NEON Artificial Humans at CES 2020

At CES 2020, Samsung introduced NEON "artificial humans" that look, behave and emote like real people and have the potential to change the way that we interact with AI assistants. Notably, these digital avatars are designed to be activated by addressing them by real names like Frank, Natasha or Hana rather than "Hey NEON."

The artificial humans are designed to speak in all languages and offer authentic interactions, as there will soon be licenses and subscriptions to a NEON service representative—meaning that people will be able to interact with these digital avatars as financial advisors, healthcare providers or concierges.

NEON relies on a proprietary software called Core R3, which is responsible for creating the advanced, lifelike movements and responsive features of the artificial humans.
