Neon-Clad Alleyways

The Neon Alley Street Party lit up the streets of Pueblo, Colorado

Last month, the town of Pueblo, Colorado, was illuminated during the Neon Alley Street Party. While the town has always been known for its unique collection of phosphorescent signage, the party gave residents and visitors a chance to use the glow of the lights as the perfect backdrop for a street festival.

The Neon Alley Street Party took place on September 22nd, in one of Pueblo's alleyways. Under an eclectic collection of vintage signs ranging from iconic local pieces to memorabilia from across the country, guests enjoyed snacks, cocktails and live music. The party was meant to kick off a year-long installation created by a man named Joseph Koncilja. As Koncilja explains, the neon-clad alleyway is the "greatest assembly of neon art west of Times Square and east of Las Vegas."
